It's the perfect activity for teaching your littles about chemical reactions! The oil always floats to the top because it is less dense than water and the food coloring adds some great pizzazz, too!
Step 1. Clean glass container with 3/4 veggie oil
Step 2. Fill the rest with tap water
Step 3. Add 10 drops food coloring (pick just one color or it will turn brown)
Step 4. Then.... 3-4 tabs of alka seltzer
Step 5. Enjoy!
