Allendale Twp Library's Summer Reading Program is Still On

By Ashley Johnson, Youth Services Librarian June 3, 2020

The Summer Reading Program at the Allendale Township Library looks a little bit different this year but they're very glad to still be able to offer it!

Children ages 10 and under can mark off one circle for every 15 minutes of reading and ages 11 and up can mark off one circle for every 25 minutes of reading on the reading log. These logs can be printed HERE or they will mail them out if anyone completes this survey

Participants can complete surveys once they finish half of their reading and then all of it to earn a prize and a free book. Prizes and books will be mailed or delivered after the Stay Home, Stay Safe executive order is lifted. After the library begins to offer curbside service (when it is safe to do so), prizes and books may also be picked up at the library. Once the Executive Order changes delivery and shipping prizes will cease and turn to curbside only.

The final day to complete the program is Saturday, August 8. All of the details can be found HERE.
