Description
This race will get you outside to enjoy a combination of trails and roads in Kentwood. This course is great for first-time runners but will also provide a challenge to more experienced runners. This race is perfect for running or walking with your sweetie, soul mate, BFF or to meet someone new! Kids and families are welcome. The fastest runners will be awarded but also the "best dressed." Those with the best Valentine themed costumes will be judged by their fellow runners. Our race will have each mile marked, Valentine Candy stations, and an after party located in our Community Room at the Library. Runners will receive a long sleeve shirt in their race packets.
The After-Party will include music, Valentine's themed snacks, a photo booth, the award ceremony and much more! We'll also have coffee and TimBits which have been generously donated by Tim Hortons.
We will be using funds generated from this race to support our Little Free Pantry. This pantry provides much needed food and hygiene products to those who need them the most in our community with no questions asked. Bring extra $ or a non-perishable item to donate and be entered to win a special door prize!
